The Amazonian Queen
Hippolyta is the queen of the Amazons in Greek mythology. She was the daughter of Ares and the mother of Theseus. If Hippolita would have been an actual Amazonian woman, she would have had a very different fate. The people of the Amazons are very conservative and very shy when a foreigner appears. They are very silent and don’t talk unless they ask them a question. The play would be very different since she would have acted very differently. People in the forest work together for survival, they hunt, gather and eat together. It would have been a very different story since the culture and the people are very different. Hippolita would have had very different thoughts, actions and values.

The fall of the Leavers
When the Europeans came, they were the ones with the knowledge, with the power. They were the Takers, they thought they had the knowledge of good and evil, like Adam in the Genesis. The Indians which are also supposed to be descendants of Adam were the Leavers. The Europeans came and since the Indians or leavers were weaker and in a way more innocent so it was their fall, they thought they were gods at the beginning so they thought it was their time and got destroyed because they were thinking it was their way of dying and their sins would be forgiven so the Takers took that and killed them.
