More Hero Adventures

I have now read about Perseus, Ulysses, Hercules, and now I read about “The adventures of Æneas.” This is the first hero which I had not heard of before. “On that fatal night when the wooden horse disgorged its contents of armed men, and the capture and conflagration of the city were the result, Æneas made his escape from the scene of destruction, with his father, and his wife, and young son.” Again they show you the main hero attributes. Perseverance, hard work, and of course the need for their family and the same as Ulysses, all they do to be able to live with them. Then this myth also gets compared to the one of Hercules as Æneas starts looking for a new plane to live, and the positive and negative effects.

The need for a home gets over Æneas. When you don’t have a place to sleep, people do anything. It’s the basis of being able to live with dignity. Æneas shows you this. He started looking for places to star building a new city, a new home. “and were preparing to build a city”. They tried this in many places, until they found the perfect place, in Carthage. They show how even modernly home and family become the main priority.
