My Hero First Draft

Some time ago in Problematic City, lived a hero. I know you might already be thinking about Superman or Batman, but this was a different hero. One with powers of his own. Not with the typical super powers like super strength and flying. He didn’t even have a sidekick. Problematic City had many problems, but this hero dealt with them in his own way. Some may say his way was better than Super Man or Batman and some would say it wasn’t.
He was the hero everyone could get in touch with. The one that everyone seeked for advice. His power was one every human has but most of the time they don’t know how to use it. This is why he was superior. His intelligence was incredible. This was to the point where he could foresee things and events. This of course was perfect for the city. He prevented everything from failure in the economy, making wrong decisions, to simple common robberies. Practically he made the city a perfect place.
Making everything perfect was his flaw. All super heroes have huge flaws, like for example Super Man is weak towards kryptonite. This hero that made the city perfect started losing his mind. His intelligence was so incredibly huge that he felt he didn’t work for anything. With time he started not saying what the people in the city had to do and everything started going down. His thoughts started to get him mixed up in his head and simply couldn’t handle it. Robberies started getting very usual, the economy of the city went down due to wrong decisions, and the worst of all, and everyone started hating him. Him, who once made their lives perfect, was now hated by everyone. The city was practically in chaos. After seeing what he had done he got to the point of suicidal.
The hero who knew everything got defeated. Not by The Joker or by common robberies. He got defeated by something much bigger. Himself. This is the greatest enemy every human has. They are always in conflict with decisions and with what to do. Even the most intelligent and privileged of all have huge conflicts and many times lead to self destruction. Intelligence is the way to success but only if you know how to use it. If you do, you can accomplish many things for humanity.
